TechnicalChefs are members of the Australian Institute of Technical Chefs and share one mission.
They are passionate about protecting the public image and understanding of the trade of cookery and growing the professionalism in the cookery industry.
The Institute is administered by a council of nine TechnicalChefs and eight ex officio appointed TechnicalChefs who are Ambassadors, and representatives of the eight states and territories in Australia.
Currently the council resides in Victoria, but this may change in the future.
The council is also supported by an advisory group who provide expert opinion on development and policy.

The Charter of the A.I.T.C Council
Fine-tune the S.A.K.E requirements for registration as a TechnicalChef. Admit applicants who demonstrate fitness.
Authorise members of the institute the privilege to use the TechnicalChef logo.
Regulate the policies of A.I.T.C.
Remove members who bring the Institute into disrepute
Conduct campaigns that promote the symbolic meaning of TechnicalChefto the industry and community
Proceed towards long term goal of legal protection of title TechnicalChef.
