CareFlight’s 007 Hangar Ball Raises Over $230,000 for Lifesaving Services in the Top End
A transformed aircraft hangar, a sold-out crowd, and over $230,000 raised in a single unforgettable evening—CareFlight’s 2025 Hangar Ball has delivered remarkable support for aeromedical services across the Northern Territory.
Held in Darwin on Saturday, the James Bond-themed gala welcomed more than 450 guests for an evening of elegance, generosity, and community engagement. From an exciting live auction and the popular Lock and Key game to themed cocktails and an in-room raffle, every aspect of the event was designed to entertain while raising critical funds for CareFlight’s vital mission.

“The generosity displayed by our community at the Hangar Ball is truly inspiring,” said Arani Duggan, General Manager of Fundraising and Community Engagement. “Every dollar raised contributes to our mission of providing rapid-response medical care to patients in urgent need, wherever they are.”
Funds from the evening will support CareFlight’s efforts to deliver hospital-level care to patients in remote communities, advance clinical education and training, and ensure specialist medical teams can respond swiftly in some of Australia’s most challenging environments.

“This event was about more than just fundraising—it was about coming together in support of a cause that truly matters,” added Arani Duggan. “Those who attended, donated, and volunteered helped make a meaningful difference for Territorians who may one day need urgent medical assistance.”
