Members are listed by their certificate, the certificate identifies the month and year of registration, registration number and status.
Chefs who are registered have fulfilled the requirements for membership of the Australian Institute of Technical Chefs and entitled to be titled a Chef or TechnicalChef.
The database is updated monthly, subsequently applicants who has been approved may not be listed as yet . Please email the Institute to verify a members status.

The strength of TechnicalChef lies not in its numbers of members .but with the culinary experience and positions of responsibility of members.  Average Member Culinary Experience (Mean) as at December 2016 is 29 years 6 months.

Ranks in the Australian Institute of TechnicalChefs acknowledge longevity in a career as a chef or an associated career emanating from a Chefs Career.

Members  area registered as TechnicalChef for two years as an affiliate before a rank is acknowledged on a record

Ranks do not have any special logo or trademark, however, the rank identified on the A.I.T.C register is an accolade and acknowledgement of continuous service to the commercial cookery and the longevity of the holder’s professionalism.

Ranks take effect immediately an affiliate is re-registered

Founding Member – First 50 approved members

Based on documented continuous service as a professional chef (In their original application to be a TechnicalChef) members will be acknowledged in the register with ranks as follows:

TechnicalChef – Full Member – Affiliate – First two years of membership of the Institute

TechnicalChef – Full Member – Verified – More than two years as a TechnicalChef (Industry experience less than 15 years)

Senior TechnicalChef – 15 years plus (Industry experience as a chef  or  subsequent related career)

Principal TechnicalChef – 25 years plus (Industry experience as a chef  or  subsequent related career)

Elders of Institute of Technical Chefs – 35 years plus (Industry experience as a chef or  subsequent related career)
