CPD

The TChef Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is a requirement for all AITC credentialed Professional Chefs seeking re-registration. This online platform is where you record your CPD activities and keep your personal records.

What are the benefits of CPD?

Completing your TChef CPD will enable you to continue to be credentialed with AITC, and be seen as a professional, who is ‘keeping abreast of  their  industry’

How many CPD hours is required:?

50 hours for the first two years of induction and 5 years thereafter.

CPD  hours in  any occupation related activity that has update or improved your skills and experience can count towards your CPD.

You’re the best person to know whether or not your experience was occupation related, because it was your experience in your job. For this reason, you can use many culinary or other types of activities to count towards your CPD.

As examples only: Advisory roles – Association Memberships – Conferences – Culinary Committees – Culinary Competitions –  Culinary Judge – Excursions – Exhibitions – Formal studies – Master Classes –Mentoring – Networking – Self-Study Courses – Short Courses – Social Media –Trips – Unique Events –Workshops – ETC.
